  • Updated

If you have issues entering your number immediately after you sign up:

  • Make sure you don’t have any ad-blocker enabled.
  • Try using a different browser and a different device.
  • After choosing the right country, type in the phone number as you would call it locally (no additional country code), and remove any spaces or dashes.

If you have issues receiving an SMS and you have previously successfully logged in:

  • Make sure you don’t have any ad-blocker enabled.
  • Try using a different browser and a different device.
  • If you received multiple codes, wait one hour and try again.

If you are having issues receiving an SMS and you have never successfully logged in:

  • Make sure you don’t have any ad-blocker enabled.
  • Try using a different browser and a different device.
  • Open a support ticket at the Developer Support portal to confirm that you entered the correct number when you signed up. In your support ticket, please include the phone number you expect to have registered.
  • If you have never logged in you can open a support ticket at the Developer Support portal to reset the number associated with your account.

The support team can only help in this way if you have never logged in. They are unable to change your number or speed up phone number change requests.

Changing your phone number:

If the phone number that you use for two-factor authentication changes, open a support ticket at the Developer Support portal. This process takes several days, which allows the holder of the old phone number to cancel the process (this prevents malicious actors from gaining access).

To transfer your AppLovin account to another person, open a ticket in which you request AppLovin to update the number associated with your account.
